It's a dark and stormy night in the opening scenes; we see Aditya Pancholi's character attempting to kill Dr. Sushma (Madhuri Dixit). He mistakenly kills someone else in the dark and flees, until he injures himself after a brawl with street hoodlums and becomes an amnesiac. He lands in the very hospital where Dr. Sushma works and coincidentally, is being treated by Dr. Sushma herself! Unbeknownst of his identity and past, Aditya feels helpless but finds acceptance/love from Dr. Sushma # who even renames him 'Krishna'. All the while, Inspector Ranjit (Suresh Oberoi) is responsible for investigating the murder and Krishna's identity. Who is Krishna? Will he regain his memory? What is the reason behind his attempted murder of Dr. Sushma? Written by Harpreet Banwait Dr. Sushma treats a patient who has no recollection of his past life, including his name. She decides to name him "Krishna", and he responds to her treatment and care. Both get friendly, and eventually fall in love and get married. After the marriage, Sushma gets a phone call from Police Inspector Ranjit, who warns her that Krishna is really out to kill her, but she disregards this warning. One day, while taking photographs, Krishna slips and falls down, hurting his head. When Sushma attempts to treat him, he regains his memory, and attacks her.
