The story is about a single father (Sachin) who is overly protective of her daughter (Srishti Behl) and does not like the idea that his daughter will leave him after marriage and hence tries to create hurdles between his daughter and her prospective groom. Sanjay is overly concerned and protective of his daughter, and wants to be aware of her every moment, diet, friends, etc. Despite of this, Sanjay has an overly active imagination, which compounds this situation. Years pass by, and Sanjay has not changed, though Simran has grown up and now attends college. When Simran meets with Vivek Mehra, both fall in love. When Sanjay comes to know about this, he is unable to accept that his child has grown up to be a woman ready for marriage, and it is this thinking that creates hilarious hurdles in both their lives.
