At the end of a long day a lonely young woman descends into a jazz club looking for her blind date. She finds herself in a weird and unwelcoming underworld where all eyes scrutinize her every move. When her date appears there is no chemistry between them. She soon nods off to sleep and dreams of visiting a 'love agency' where she spots the details of her date in the window...
