Journalist Silvia travels to the Democratic Republic of Congo to shoot a documentary film about the current situation in the country at the time of the elections. After the first days of her research, she is confronted with an unexpected reality. Renegade rebels groups still roam around indoctrinating children for war. Her trip becomes a personal nightmare when her driver runs over a child. As a result, she cannot escape what is happening and uses her journalistic abilities as the only way out, adhering to the old Congo saying: Débrouillez-Vous! This is what dictator Mobutu said to the Congolese meaning: Help Yourself!
