The art association MEDEA stands for initiative media-work and integration into new fields of art. MEDEA understands art as treatment of social surfaces, which are formed by concrete humans. In this sense art refers to concrete human interests and feeds themselves from these. Participants are migrants and Austrians; approximately a group of 28 persons and about 160 user take part. Borders between art, media, social, integration, politic, and education are consciously not drawn, work practice negate the static organization of initiative into individual social fields.
