The U.S. Army Special Forces are otherwise known as the Green Berets. The history of the Special Forces in Vietnam, Iran, El Salvador, and elsewhere is explored. Special Forces soldiers are shown at work in Afghanistan and Iraq. A unit in Baghdad occupies a deserted palace while they attempt to catch allies of Saddam Hussein and locate weapons caches in the area. As the United States' foes increasingly turn to the tactics of unconventional warfare, the skills and expertise of the Special Forces will prove to be even more useful. Written by Ken Miller
