Locals Only is a documentary short that takes a look into localism, which is defined as the unspoken "rights" a surfer has to a certain surfing spot. The Locals Only crew interviewed numerous professional and local surfers to discuss the issues of localism and how it effects the surfing culture. The production team, consisting of teachers and students from Communications High School, were able to produce this documentary with the generous help of Abel CineTech's & Panasonic's Filmmakers Grant.
