Boat racing is the biggest hobby of Alakkad Panchayat (Nedumudi Venu) who has been losing in the annual Vallamkali (Boat race). His son Chandran (Kunchakko Boban) is a cable operator who falls in love with Geeta (Navya) an orphan who is smart and hard working. Pappi Amma (Sukumari) takes care of her along with her son Ponnappan (Jagathy) who tries to get Geeta married to a Dubai returned Jose (Riaz Khan). Meanwhile Chandran's father pledges all his properties for the final race but loses. He dies in misery and now the responsibility of his family along with his father's liabilities falls on Chandran who also has to help Geeta from Jose. Written by Abhilash
