In northern Chile, at the beginning of this century, the industry of saltpetre drove people into the Atacama desert where they built up a town, Victoria, a symbol of modernity and prosperity. Today, Victoria is a ruin with 6 inhabitants where there only remains traces of a glorious past. The film reconstructs the course of events that doomed Victoria to oblivion. Written by Anonymous
