1975. Jonas, ten-years-old, lives in a small provincial town with his mother Clara and his sister Marie, age 18. While the two women are doing their every day work, Jonas dreams away in a distant world where he can be close to his father. He keeps on drifting away. One of the few things he knows about his father is that he is a truck driver. And as he misses him endlessly, Jonas decides to call a radio station at night to send his love to his father.
