UNNS is narrated by Natasha Patel (Juhi Babbar) about her friend Ria (Rituparna Sengupta) who married Rahul (Sanjay Kapoor) on the rebound. Rahul truly loves his wife, but Ria doesn't not give that love back. Ria's first love, Rishi (Sudhanshu Pandey) is an advertising tycoon who she really loved, but they couldn't get married. So, Ria starts intentionally picking fights with Rahul and eventually tells Rahul she wants a divorce. Natasha's boyfriend, Sameer (Aman Verma) is Ria's lawyer.
