Set in a remote farming community, this claustrophobic thriller, The Farm, tells the story of Cathy, a tough, independent young woman who, shortly after the death of her brother, finds herself struggling in the face of mounting hardship to save her family farm from the attentions of Edward Henderson, a local landowner. Into her uncertain future comes a man with a secret past, John Prior, a young drifter and friend of her brother's who at first seems to bring with him hope of a better life.
